Trip Around Cuba

Better than a tour bus - We did a tour from Varadero to Havana and had a great day. Although our driver did not speak English, he was very friendly and our guide was a great... read more translator between us. We had a nice day and really like our guide Luis. Our only complaint is with the lunch location. We felt that this is part of the catch of doing tours like this...you are brought to their friend's restaurant that only caters to tourists who are all on a similar tour. It is not in the city centre and although the food was good, we would have preferred something more affordable and somewhere also visited by locals. We were back to our hotel by 4pm (we thought the tour would go until 5pm) and I would have appreciated another hour to discover more of Havana.
All in all, it is a good company who were very accommodating trying to find a way for us to pay since we did not have enough American cash and couldn't use our credit card. Be sure to bring lots of Canadian/American cash with you and have small amounts of pesos for tipping and for buying from some smaller vendors.

Jordan was such a great guide who knew all the best stops to visit and was very informative with cool history! For the people that complain about the food in Cuba, they clearly never left their resort. Jordan took us to a fantastic spot called Mojito Mojito and the food was incredible! We would absolutely recommend them to anyone wanting to tour Cuba and have a great time. Thanks guys!

We went to all kinds of small villages inland and we always felt safe and had a great time.

Let me first say i was a little skeptical about heading into havana with a driver/ tour guide that ive never met before but it turned out to be one... read more of the best decisions i made on our trip to cuba. Me my wife and my 3 young kids all went along with Yordani (Jordan if u prefer) from our resort in Veradero to Havana for the entire day. He was so down to earth and made us all feel safe and like a true guest the whole time. My kids loved the car and his knowledge of cuban culture left us with a new understanding of cuba. He was with us the whole time and kept us, including the kids interested . He was familiar with the places we wanted to go and even took us to an amazing restaurant in old Havana. Price was even less than what other friends of ours had paid so i felt more than satisfied with what we paid. Looking forward to having Yordani take us into Havana again, hopefully next year, especially if we go to Veradero

Our driver and tour guide were so lovely and made the day extra special.
The meal we had was outstanding, the best for the entire trip. The driver even arrived early at the meal venue to ensure that the table was decorated (I took the decorations with us) and there was also a live band who played HBD while the guests clapped and sang.

Would highly recommend these guys.
